A primary care provider called Astrana Care of Nevada is expanding in Las Vegas with clinics that stay open seven days a week, including evenings. If you've ever tried to squeeze in a doctor's appointment between work and school pickup, or needed weekend care that wasn't urgent enough for the ER but couldn't wait until Monday, this is what they're targeting. The clinics focus on longer appointment times and same-day or next-day availability.
Astrana isn't new to Nevada healthcare, they've been operating in the state for a while, but they're growing their footprint in the valley now. The extended hours model is meant to make it easier for working parents and families who can't afford to take half a day off for a 15-minute checkup. They take most major insurance plans and are accepting new patients.
